Greece (I Am Invincible/Maastricht) has had big wraps from even before she was purchased for $1.2 million alongside Ciaron Maher Racing at the Magic Millions Yearling Sale in 2021.

The superbly bred filly is a full sister to Champion 3yo filly in Australia and multiple Gr1 winner, Loving Gaby, and at this early stage of her career, looks to have all the talent of her sister!

Both Nxt Level and Ciaron Maher have a long relationship with Coolmore Stud, the world’s largest breeding operation of thoroughbred horses and it was only logical for Ciaron to approach them as to be the third party in our already strong partnership.

Kia Ora stud who prepared the filly for sale were also keen to get involved as were two seperate private clients and with that, our ownership team was complete.

It has been amazing to watch her grow and mature to the stage she is now.

The entire team had massive wraps on her which we were finally able to witness in her first public trial on Thursday at Rosehill where she just toyed with her rivals under a hold.

She officially won the trial by 1.8L however it was the style in which she won that was most impressive as she wasn’t pushed and barely had a blow following her race.

What further franked the trial win was how easily she forged clear beating a field that included the Annabelle Neasham trained stakes-placed, Bohemian Daisy.

Champion jockey James McDonald, rode the filly and was incredibly happy with her work saying “She jumped alertly, travelled very comfortably and just did it with ease! I loved how she just went about her business in a really good way and absolutely nothing phased her!”

The plan for this precocious two-year-old is now to have one more trial before heading to the Group Two, Reisling Stakes for 2yo fillies on March 5th.

This is a traditional lead up race to the Golden Slipper and will give a good indication of how she is going and where to go next!

The bookies also noticed the impressive jumpout win with her price slashed from 100-1 pre-trial firstly to 60-1 and now into 34-1 with most major bookmaker for the Gr1 Golden Slipper!

She will race in the Coolmore navy blue and we are incredibly excited to see just how good this young filly is as we progress into the Autumn carnival!
