Why take it to the Nxt Level?
Nxt Level Syndication was established in 2019 with the dream and commitment of purchasing the best racehorse prospects from around the world. Nxt Level Syndication is a first of its kind racehorse syndication company with a special focus on horse health and welfare. Helping us to achieve this high standard is the state of the art E-Trakka equine fitness monitoring system which we use on every horse during all ridden work from the first stages of their careers, from breaking-in through the pre-training and full training process.
We pride ourselves on being at the forefront of horse welfare. With endorsements from E-Trakka and world-renowned veterinarian Dr Greg Fox we want to place a positive light on the racehorse industry whilst giving owners the best experience they can possibly have.
We offer the ability for owners to receive not only reports on the progress of their horse but also a live feed of their horse in work so that they can be involved no matter their location... from anywhere in the world you can get an insight into what your horse is doing!
The commitment to our clients is long term, our focus starts at the point of sale and remains at a high standard all the way through. We are committed to the happiness of our clients and we will go above and beyond the normal practices when providing our clients with all the information they require to make knowledgeable and informed decisions concerning their bloodstock investments. With the expertise of our staff and trainers being involved from the start of the buying process, we have all the right steps in place for the company and its owners to take each purchase to the Nxt Level.
We are committed to the success of our clients and we will go above and beyond the normal practices when providing our clients with all the information they require to make knowledgeable and informed decisions concerning their bloodstock investments.
Our Team
Chris Andersen Director
Chris is the Director of Nxt Level Syndication. Growing up around horses and the racehorse industry, Mr Andersen spent some time away from the industry to run his father’s Australian wide company but the lure to return to the racing industry was too strong. Four years after being back in the industry he decided to get into horse syndication business as Chris wanted to give owners a new World Class experience which has been done in combination with the E-Trakka allowing owners for the first time to see their horse’s live work from wherever they are in the world. The strong will to focus on horse welfare is at the forefront of Nxt Level Syndication’s view and everything that the company does is for the best of all the horse’s managed by the company. The company looks to syndicate top class racehorse prospects with rare opportunities to get into the ownership of horses with the pedigrees that hardly see the syndicate market.
David Lucas Bloodstock Manager
David plays a huge part in the company, not only as our racing & bloodstock manager but for the knowledge he brings. Some 35 years ago he purchased a property in Beaudesert which was to become Willowbend, over some 18 months he built an agistment property as well as breaking in and pre training facilities. After a number of years of successfully building the business David then purchased Clang who was at that time the second highest rated 2 and 3-year-old colt in Australia. He stood Clang at Willowbend at the end of his 3-year-old racing year. Clang went on to produce many Group winners including a Golder Slipper winner. Over the next few years, the property grew to 500 acres and after developing the infrastructure he then, through his connections with Coolmore, was able to bring a group 1 winning stallion to Willowbend. After 4 successful years he bought a second Coolmore stallion to Willowbend.
David spent around 28 years building and running Willowbend, building a great reputation in the industry and have to this day a very good relationship with many of the leading studs.
He spent over 10 years as a Director of the Thoroughbred Breeders of Queensland and 2 years as a Director of the Thoroughbred Breeders Of Australia. David has also been involved at a Federal and State Government level with policy making along with the peak bodies in the racing and breeding industries.
Because of his success in the industry David has had many clients who have asked for advice in buying and breeding. This lead him to spending 4 years travelling existentially throughout China visiting horse clubs, studs and racing complexes. David was consulting on everything from horse health, reproduction, and racecourse building, he also bought over 160 horses for clients in China.
In September 2016 he was given the opportunity to work for Phoenix Thoroughbreds as their Bloodstock agent and consultant for the Southern Hemisphere. Over the next twelve months he purchased some 21 mares in foal to the leading sires in Australia. Tallow was one of the more successful mares purchased. She was in foal to Not A Single Doubt and the resulting foal went on to win the 2020 Golden Slipper (Farnan). David also attended all the leading Thoroughbred sales here and in North America where we were able to buy some top-class yearlings some of which raced with distinction, including group winners.
